If you’re looking to catch bass the Carolina Rig should be one of your first choices because it can be used as either a very simple rig or one with a multitude of rigging choices and because it is uncomplicated in nature. There seems to be a lot of controversy and mystery about this rig but as far as I am concerned as long as it works and catches bass or any fish for that matter I will continue to use it as one of my top choices in rigs.
